Terms of Service

1. The Service

Mivius provides short-form episodic video series for streaming. A limited number of episodes per series are available free of charge; access to further episodes requires an active paid subscription.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or yearly, as selected at checkout) via our payment provider, Whop. Checkout is hosted by Whop, which processes the payment and, where applicable, acts as merchant of record for sales tax and VAT purposes. Prices are displayed in USD at checkout and may change with notice for future billing periods. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access until the end of the period already paid for. We do not prorate or refund partial periods except as required by applicable law or as stated below.

3. Right of withdrawal (EU/French consumers)

Under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium, the performance of which has begun after the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.

By checking the consent box at checkout and subscribing, you expressly request immediate access to the Service and acknowledge that you waive your statutory 14-day withdrawal right for the digital content unlocked by your subscription, once that access has begun.

4. Account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account.

5. Acceptable use

The Service is for personal, non-commercial viewing. You may not download, redistribute, publicly perform, or circumvent access controls on any content except as the Service's own features allow.

6. Content and availability

Series and episodes are added over time and may be modified, delayed, or removed from the catalogue. We do not guarantee that any specific title will remain available for the duration of your subscription.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

8. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mivius is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under French or EU law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Consumers residing in the EU retain the protections of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of their country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the competent French courts, without prejudice to a consumer's right to bring proceedings in their own country of residence, or to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
